Gordon McLean

Gordon McLean serves as the Technical Director at UPM - The Biofore Company since 2010, overseeing Engineering, Maintenance, Power Station operations, and Renewable Energy activities, including the management of a 99 MWth Biomass Power Station. McLean previously held various roles at UPM - Kymmene from 1991 to 2010, including Project Manager for the development and operation of a Biomass CHP power station. Early career experience includes positions as Senior Project Engineer at British Aerospace and various engineering roles at UPM - Kymmene and British Aerospace. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Birmingham and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University. Additional credentials involve HNC and ONC qualifications in Engineering from Kilmarnock College and Design Engineering studies at Glasgow College.
