Juha Sipponen

Juha Sipponen is an experienced professional in the field of engineering and sourcing, currently serving as Director of Project Sourcing at UPM - The Biofore Company since January 2014, leading a major pulp mill and deep sea harbor terminal project in Uruguay. Previous roles at UPM include Director of Investment Sourcing, Category Manager, Sourcing Manager, and Engineering Manager, with a focus on investment sourcing and maintenance within the forest industry. Juha also held maintenance and technical manager positions in China and worked as a maintenance work planner in a specialty paper mill. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Materials Engineering from Tampere University of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
