Kimmo Sell is an experienced professional with a robust background in project management and procurement within the paper industry, currently serving as Director of Development Projects at UPM - The Biofore Company since January 2001. Kimmo leads significant initiatives such as the EU deforestation regulation project for UPM Paper Businesses, focusing on process readiness and digital integration. Previous roles include directing procurement operations, raw material execution, sales and operations planning, and market intelligence, showcasing a strong expertise in supply chain optimization, forecasting, and competitive analysis. Kimmo holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from LUT University and has prior experience at MTU Aero Engines and Stora Enso.
