Lassi Koponen

Lassi Koponen is an experienced project manager with a demonstrated history in the forestry and paper industries. Currently serving as Project Manager at UPM - The Biofore Company since November 2023, Lassi leads the ERP renewal program and oversees the UPM Forest User Experience Development team. Prior experience at UPM Timber includes roles such as Manager of Tools and Processes and Manager of Projects, where responsibilities encompassed managing various business development initiatives and IT tool portfolios. Lassi's background also features roles at Metsä Board, Stora Enso, and Peterson Packaging, showcasing a robust foundation in project coordination, service management, and supply chain development. Lassi holds dual Master’s degrees in Paper Science and Engineering from Aalto University and Teknillinen korkeakoulu, as well as a Specialist Qualification in Management from Taitotalo.
