Max Karlsson

Max Karlsson serves as Group Legal Counsel at UPM Adhesive Materials, overseeing a legal team focused on various legal matters, including commercial agreements and compliance. Previously, Max held roles such as Director of Legal for UPM's Uruguay Development Project, leading a team through significant investments, and led legal efforts in UPM Biorefining. Max's early career included roles at the Parliament of Finland, Hannes Snellman, and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, gaining experience in M&A transactions and legal advisory. Max holds an LL.M. from the University of Helsinki and an M.Soc.Sc. in International Law and Political Science from Åbo Akademi.
