Merja Helle has extensive experience in human resources and management, currently holding the position of Manager for HR Services Quality and Development at UPM since December 2010, after serving in various roles such as Specialist and Assistant within HR Services. Prior to UPM, Merja Helle worked at UPM Raflatac as an Assistant in Sales & Marketing Europe, and held the position of Service Advisor at Tampereen Seudun Osuuspankki. Earlier career roles also include Product Assistant and Department Assistant at Sonera Oyj. Merja Helle holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the Turku School of Economics, a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Business Competence from Tampere University of Applied Sciences, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences.
