Mika Timmerbacka

Mika Timmerbacka is an experienced professional in intellectual property rights (IPR), currently serving as the Director of IPR at UPM - The Biofore Company since May 2007. Prior to this role, Mika held positions as Board Member at the Finnish Association for Industrial Property Rights from April 2007 to December 2017, Manager of IPR at Kemira Oyj from January 2003 to April 2007, and Patent Manager followed by Patent Engineer at Danisco A/S from January 1998 to January 2003. Mika Timmerbacka holds a Master of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Helsinki.
