Robert Perez

Robert Perez is an experienced DCS Engineer specializing in automation at UPM - The Biofore Company since May 2020. As a co-founder and CTO at Pills and Care since January 2017, Robert leads the development of a Smart Pill dispenser for home use. Previously, Robert served as a teacher at UTEC - Universidad Tecnológica from April 2016 to April 2021, teaching Logic Design, Programming, and Microprocessors. Robert's extensive background includes positions as Automation Supervisor and Technician at Andritz Uruguay S.A from February 2007 to May 2020, where responsibilities included overseeing maintenance tasks and developing control strategies. Early experience also includes roles in IT and technical support, as well as training in Embedded Systems and automation technologies from various educational institutions, culminating in multiple relevant certifications.
