Timo Pernu

Timo Pernu is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in platform ownership and team leadership, currently serving as Senior IT Platform Owner and Team Lead for the Salesforce platform at UPM - The Biofore Company since May 2011. Responsibilities include managing the corporate-wide Salesforce platform, overseeing license management, and leading an Application platforms Design team. Previous roles at UPM include Manager of Data Architect for the SmartFront program, where Timo mapped data management practices, and IT Senior Manager Service Owner, focusing on supply chain solutions. Timo's earlier experience includes project engineering at Pirkanmaa Hospital District and production coordination at Tamfelt Corp. Timo holds a Master’s degree in Process Engineering from the University of Oulu and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management & Organization from the University of Tampere.
