Tuomas Hallenberg

Tuomas Hallenberg has extensive experience in the wood sourcing and supply chain management sectors, currently serving as the Director of Centrally Led Steering for Wood Sourcing in North Europe at UPM-Kymmene Corporation since August 2012. This role includes managing demand-supply planning, supply chain operations, and procurement for private forests. Hallenberg has also held the position of Director of Harvesting and Logistics in the Northern Forest Supply Chain since April 2010, overseeing the complete supply to mills, along with harvesting and logistics operations in North Europe and Russia. Previously, from October 2002 to April 2010, Hallenberg contributed to raw material procurement and sourcing management, focusing on domestic and overseas B2B contracts. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Business Administration from LUT University and a DEUF from Université Jean Moulin (Lyon III), complemented by a Master's degree in Forest Management Planning and Business Administration from Joensuun yliopisto.
