Andy Mulkerin

Andy Mulkerin is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in internal communications, writing, and nonprofit engagement. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Internal Communications at UPMC since October 2018, Andy enhances organizational performance by connecting leaders with employee audiences. In addition, Andy has been a Manager of Internal Marketing and Communications at CureRock since January 2017 and serves as Secretary of the board of directors for the nonprofit focused on pediatric and adolescent cancer support. Andy’s freelance writing career began in February 2007, contributing to various publications and producing PR content for musicians. Previous roles include Editor at Technology Publishing Company, Communications and Development Associate at Familylinks, Inc., and Music Editor at Pittsburgh City Paper. Andy holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing from the University of Pittsburgh.
