Bert Smith

Bert Smith possesses extensive experience in human resources and talent acquisition, currently serving as Manager of Human Resources at UPMC Insurance Services Division since July 2017 and as Program Lead for Workforce Development at UPMC since February 2015. In these roles, Bert oversees talent acquisition initiatives focused on hiring veterans and individuals with barriers to employment, manages workforce development reporting, and leads training for recruitment teams. Previously held positions include Senior Recruiter and Recruiter at UPMC, where Bert developed recruitment strategies and built strong relationships with management to align hiring with organizational goals.
