Brad Butcher, MD, FCCM, is an intensivist at UPMC and currently serves as the Director of the Critical Illness Recovery Center at UPMC Mercy. They held the position of Associate Professor of Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine from 2013 to 2021. Additionally, Brad is the Director of ICU-3 at UPMC Mercy Hospital, a role they have occupied since 2022, after serving as Co-Director from 2015 to 2021. They completed a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, in 2013.
