Chris Hare, CHC, serves as the Sr. Director of Construction & Facilities Maintenance at UPMC since July 2013, overseeing all capital and non-capital construction projects. Previously, Chris worked as a Project Manager at UPMC, managing renovations and new construction for outpatient clinics and a cancer center. Prior experience includes serving as a Project Manager at Penn St. Hershey Medical Center, acting as an owner's representative for renovation projects ranging from $10,000 to $5 million. Chris began the career as a Space Planner at Washington Group and held the position of Sales Associate/Lead at Staples, focusing on sales and team motivation. Educationally, Chris holds an MBA in Healthcare from Columbia Southern University, a Bachelor's of Science in Facilities Management from Ferris State University, and an Associate’s in Applied Science in Architectural Technology from HACC.
