Christopher Horvat is an Associate Professor of Critical Care Medicine, Pediatrics, and Biomedical Informatics with a strong focus on clinical informatics and learning health systems. From 2017 to 2024, they served as an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Currently, Christopher holds the position of Senior Director of Clinical Informatics at UPMC, where they continue to innovate and optimize electronic record workflows to ensure equitable care for children. Christopher has earned a Doctor of Medicine from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as a Master of Healthcare Administration and is pursuing a Master of Science in Information Technology at Carnegie Mellon University.
