Daniel Nassar

Daniel Nassar is currently an Operating Room Assistant at UPMC, where responsibilities include pre-operative patient preparation, patient transport, and the management of sterile and pharmaceutical supplies since May 2018. Nassar has also served as a Patient Care Assistant during a period of increased patient volume due to COVID-19. Additionally, shadowing experiences with anesthesiologists Dr. Charlie Kingsley and Dr. Joseph Answine provided insights into the anesthesia practice at both Harrisburg Hospital and Susquehanna Valley Surgery Center. Recently, Nassar worked as a Scholar at the Kinney Center for Autism Education and Support, engaging in one-on-one support for individuals with ASD while completing intensive training and obtaining necessary certifications. Nassar's educational journey includes a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine program at Lincoln Memorial University, a Post Baccalaureate Certificate from Saint Joseph's University, a degree in Exercise Science from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, and a High School Diploma from Cumberland Valley High School.
