Douglas Lohmann is a Senior Biomedical Engineer at UPMC, actively contributing to the Artificial Heart Program. Previously, they served as the Coordinator of Circulatory Support in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Wake Forest University School of Medicine from 1995 to 2002, and as a Biomedical Engineer in the Department of Cardiothoracic Services at Saint Louis University Health Sciences Center from 1989 to 1995. Douglas earned a Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Bridgeport.
