Fen Guo

Fen Guo, Ph.D., FACMG, FCCMG, currently serves as the Associate Director at UPMC Clinical Genomics Laboratory and Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh. With extensive experience in clinical genetics, Guo has held key positions including Clinical Laboratory Director at PerkinElmer Genomics, where responsibilities included overseeing genomic sequencing, leading R&D initiatives, and ensuring optimal lab performance. Guo's background includes a fellowship in clinical laboratory genetics and genomics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and prior roles as a clinical genetics technologist at London Health Sciences Centre and a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Western Ontario. Guo earned a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Jinan University and additional education at The Michener Institute.
