Jack Rozel

Jack Rozel, MD, MSL, DFAPA, is a Professor of Psychiatry & Law at the University of Pittsburgh and serves as the Medical Director of Resolve Crisis Services at UPMC, both positions held since April 2010. With a background in medical leadership, Jack previously held the role of Medical Director for the Rochester Community Mobile Crisis Team and Child & Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatry at Strong Memorial Hospital from July 2005 to March 2010, and served as President of the American Association for Emergency Psychiatry from December 2018 to December 2020. Jack's extensive training includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from Brown Medical School and a Master of Studies in Law focused on Health Care Law from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Additionally, Jack holds an AB in Biomedical Ethics from Brown University.
