Jason Hare serves as the Program Director for the Campus PA Studies Program and an Assistant Professor in the undergraduate Bachelors of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences Program at the University of Pittsburgh, focusing on courses in Human Physiology and Pathophysiology of Human Disease. Additionally, Jason has a background as a Special Education Teacher for Fairfax County Public Schools and as an Orthopedic Physician Assistant at UPMC Center for Sports Medicine. Currently, Jason holds a position as a Physician Assistant II at UPMC, with previous experience as a certified athletic trainer in local schools and as a creator and host of The Be Excited! Podcast. Jason's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Chatham University, a Post-Baccalaureate in Athletic Training from the University of Virginia, and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Waynesburg University, complemented by a minor in Biology.
