Kevin Contrera

Kevin Contrera, MD, MPH, currently serves as an Assistant Professor in Head and Neck Surgery at UPMC since July 2023. Kevin is a member of multiple committees within the American Academy of Otolaryngology, including the Head and Neck Surgery and Oncology Committee, and has held various leadership roles, such as on the Board of Governors. Additionally, Kevin is involved with the American Head and Neck Society Inc. and has previously completed a fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Head & Neck Oncologic and Reconstructive Microvascular Surgery. Kevin's training includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Other notable experiences include leadership roles during undergraduate studies and clinical research coordination at Cleveland Clinic.
