Lanie Francis

Lanie Francis, MD, is a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist who currently practices at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Pittsburgh, PA, where they also serve as the co-lead of Survivorship and founder of the Wellness Integrative Program. Lanie has a special interest in holistic patient care, focusing on the integration of mind, body, and spirit in cancer treatment. As an assistant clinical professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Lanie teaches and mentors medical students, residents, and fellows, and has received multiple awards for their commitment to patient-centered care. Lanie has contributed to international oncology initiatives through UPMC International and has served on the Medical Marijuana Advisory Committee for the state of Pennsylvania, promoting the use of medical marijuana in cancer care.
