Madel Coole

Madel Coole, DNP, RN, NI-BC, is the Lead Informatics Nurse at UPMC Center for Nursing Excellence. In this role, they promote clinical informatics, optimizing EHR and technologies to enhance patient care quality and safety. Madel received a BSN from Bloomsburg University in 2014 and an MSN in Nursing Leadership from Mansfield University in 2019. They have accumulated 12 years of experience in healthcare, including roles as a PCT, staff RN, and Clinical Liaison, before transitioning to informatics. Currently pursuing a DNP in Informatics Leadership from the American Sentinel College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Post University, Madel values collaboration and continuous learning in their specialty.
