Matthew Zaccheo, DO, FACP, FCCP, currently serves as the Regional Medical Director and Section Chief of Critical Care Medicine at UPMC Central Pennsylvania, overseeing multiple hospitals in the region. They previously worked as an Intensivist Physician at University of Michigan Health-West from 2017 to 2021 and at Bronson Healthcare from 2010 to 2017. Earlier in their career, Matthew held positions as an Internal Medicine Hospitalist at UPMC Hamot and an Internal Medicine Physician at Lake Erie Internal Medicine. Matthew completed a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and has also engaged in ongoing studies at Muhlenberg College and Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
