Nathan Liang

Staff Vascular Surgeon

Nathan Liang has a diverse background in surgery, bioengineering, and nanomedicine, with significant experience in both academic and clinical settings. Nathan's career includes roles as an Associate Professor of Surgery and Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh, alongside previous appointments as an Assistant Professor and Postdoctoral Fellow in the Division of Vascular Surgery. Nathan began at Baylor College of Medicine as a Nanomedicine Fellow and contributed to groundbreaking projects in cryoelectron microscopy. Currently, Nathan serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Aneurisk, an AI company focused on aneurysmal disease. Nathan holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Research from the University of Pittsburgh, a BS in Biochemistry & Cell Biology from Rice University, and an MD from the Texas A&M University System Health Science Center.
