Pius Ochieng

Pius Ochieng, MD, is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in pulmonary critical care. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of Medicine at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine since November 2015 and as an Attending Physician at Susquehanna Health since July 2015, Pius has dedicated a significant portion of a career to enhancing patient care. Prior to these roles, Pius completed a Pulmonary Critical Care Fellowship at Mount Sinai St. Luke's and Mount Sinai West from July 2012 to June 2015, and served as house staff at Mount Sinai School of Medicine from 2009 to 2012. Earlier training included a position as a Senior House Officer in Internal Medicine at Kenyatta National Hospital from 2005 to 2008 and various roles including Medical Officer and Medical Intern. Educational credentials include a Critical Care Fellowship from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and multiple degrees from the University of Nairobi, culminating in an MBChB.
