Samer Khader

Samer Khader, MD, FCAP, serves as the Vice Chair of Wellness in the Department of Pathology and the Director of the Cytology Center of Excellence at UPMC Shadyside, as well as the Director of the Cytopathology Fellowship Training Program, since July 2020. In addition, Samer Khader holds the position of Professor of Pathology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and serves as the Director of the Fine Needle Aspiration Clinic at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. Previously, from July 2014 to June 2020, Samer Khader was the Director of the Cytopathology Fellowship Training Program at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and held the role of Associate Professor of Pathology at Montefiore Medical Center from July 2008 to June 2020.
