Director Of Patient Experience And Access

Saul Silver is a seasoned cardiologist with extensive experience in patient care and medical education. Currently serving as the Director of Patient Experience and Access and Medical Director of the West Mifflin Outpatient Center at UPMC, Saul Silver has been a full-time cardiologist at the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute since September 2011, specializing in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology. In addition to clinical practice, Saul Silver holds the position of Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where responsibilities include serving as a faculty instructor and clinical preceptor for the UPMC Physician Assistant School program. Previous roles include Founder and President of The Heart Center at the Waterfront, Director of Cardiac Services at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, and Director of Cardiac Services at Braddock General Hospital. Saul Silver completed a fellowship in cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine and holds an M.D. from Hahnemann/Drexel University College and a BS from Lehigh University.
