Sumer Ziady is a Clinical Research Coordinator at UPMC, overseeing three studies in the Geriatric Neuropsychology Research Lab, having been promoted from the position of Research Specialist. Previous experience includes serving as a Research Manager at Carnegie Mellon University, where work focused on rapid decision-making experiments, and roles as a Teaching Assistant at Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth, Psychology Instructor at the American University of Beirut, and Freelance Illustrator. Sumer also holds a Master's degree in Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuropsychology from Birkbeck, University of London, where a thesis was completed on time perception in children with ADHD. Additionally, experience extends to private tutoring in psychology and art, as well as illustrating children’s books and other publications.
