Ulka Sachdev

Ulka Sachdev is an Associate Professor of Surgery at UPMC and a vascular surgeon-scientist committed to both clinical practice and research. As the Site Chief of Vascular Surgery at Magee Women’s Hospital, Ulka treats a diverse patient population while leading NIH-funded studies on inflammation in peripheral vascular disease. They contribute to the academic community as an associate editor for the Journal of Vascular Surgery-Vascular Science and serve on various committees at their university. Ulka holds an M.D. from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and a Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience and Women's Studies from Oberlin College.
