Neil Smith

Neil Smith is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in process design and manufacturing. Currently serving as a Staff Process Design and Development Engineer at Uponor since September 2016, Neil specializes in designing custom manufacturing equipment and processes for various production applications including pex extrusion and resin mixing. Prior to this role, Neil held positions as a Senior Process Design and Development Engineer and Design Engineer at TCE in 2016, as well as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at John Deere where contributions were made to improve quality in the 6R tractor business unit. Neil also worked as a Project Superintendent at Rice Building Systems, Inc., overseeing onsite operations and managing subcontractors from November 2008 to August 2012. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree from Twin Cities Engineering- MSUM and an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree from St Cloud Technical and Community College, with additional studies at North Dakota State University.
