Carlo C. has a diverse work experience in the field of product design and user experience. Carlo is currently working as a freelance Senior Product Designer and Design System Expert for Sustainment Technologies, where they are responsible for shaping a new SaaS tool for the Manufacturing industries in the US. Carlo focuses on bringing consistency through the application via a complete and compelling Design System.

Prior to that, Carlo worked as a Senior Product Designer for UPPER and Toptal. Carlo also freelanced as a Lead Product Designer. In their role at UPPER, they played a senior role in the product design process.

Carlo has also worked as a freelance Street Photographer since 2011.

Carlo has previous experience as a Senior Product Designer and User Experience Designer at Benefits Science Technologies and PwC Luxembourg respectively. At PwC, Carlo led a team and managed projects related to the AWM program. Carlo also utilized their expertise in high-quality prototyping and ensured good deliverables from other designers under their supervision.

Before that, Carlo held the position of Senior Design Director at REBORN - Ingenious User Interfaces, where they specialized in advanced interfaces for complex Financial and Banking web interface design. Carlo worked with clients such as Finologee on projects like the B2B KYC platform.

Carlo also worked as a Senior Design Director at i-Hub, where they provided consultation services for their company REBORN and focused on all aspects of user experience, from design to usability.

Carlo C. started their education history in 2007, attending Arte & Messaggio where they pursued a Post Diploma degree in Advertising / Branding / Photography. In addition to their formal education, Carlo C. has obtained several certifications, including the Google UX Design Specialization from Coursera | Google, which they completed in April 2022. Carlo also completed certifications in WordPress: SEO from LinkedIn and Create High-Fidelity Designs and Prototypes in Figma from Coursera | Google, both in April 2022.

Prior to this, Carlo C. obtained certifications in Responsive Web Design in Adobe XD, Build Wireframes and Low-Fidelity Prototypes, Conduct UX Research and Test Early Concepts, Figma for UX Design, Start the UX Design Process: Empathize, Define, and Ideate, Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design, UX Deep Dive: Mapping, Design Thinking: Implementing the Process, How to Create and Run a Brilliant Remote Workshop, Learning Airtable, UX Research: Journey Mapping, Using Repeaters in Axure RP, and Advanced Scripting with Axure RP in the years 2021 and 2021. Carlo also obtained a certification in Accessibility: How to Design for All from the Interaction Design Foundation (IDF) in September 2019.

Furthermore, Carlo C. completed the JOEL MEYEROWITZ - Masters of Photography course from Masters Of Photography in July 2019 and the Design Thinking certification from The Interaction Design Foundation in February 2019. Carlo also holds a Certificate of Membership from the Interaction Design Foundation (IDF) since October 2018.
