Gareth Hook

Gareth Hook currently serves as the Head of Economics and Business at Uppingham School since August 2023. Prior to this role, Gareth held positions at Lord Wandsworth College from September 2021 to August 2023, where responsibilities included teaching Economics and founding the BTEC Enterprise and Entrepreneurship program, as well as serving as Assistant Houseparent. From September 2017 to September 2021, Gareth worked at Millfield School as an Economics Teacher, where additional duties included being the second-in-command for Economics and an Assistant Housemaster, alongside coaching rugby and cricket. Earlier in his career, Gareth was the Head of Business and Economics at Stamford Endowed Schools from September 2014 to June 2016 and also worked as a PGCE teacher of Biology. Gareth holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Politics from Loughborough University and a PGCE from the University of Buckingham.
