Alexis Markowski

Alexis Markowski, MD, CWSP, is a Wound Physician at Vohra Post-Acute Physicians since June 2014 and serves as a Telemedicine Physician for UpScriptHealth beginning in 2018, providing services across multiple states in areas such as women's health, men's health, and obesity medicine. Previous experience includes roles as a Hand Surgeon at Newport Hand Surgery from August 2010 to October 2013 and as a Hand Surgery Fellow at the Connecticut Combined Hand Surgery Fellowship from July 2009 to July 2010. Alexis completed a General Surgery Residency at the University at Buffalo from June 2004 to June 2010 and a General Surgery Internship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital from June 2003 to June 2004. Prior to these positions, a Pre-IRTA Research Fellowship at the National Cancer Institute was held from August 1997 to July 1999. Alexis holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Tulane University School of Medicine (1999-2003) and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Yale University (1993-1997), following education at Groton School (1989-1993).
