Jared Schafer

Jared Schafer has a long and varied work experience. Jared began their career in 2007 as a Senior Bartender at Cafe Hollywood. In 2013, they were an Intern at Stakeholders Institute. From 2014 to 2016, they held two roles at Upside Collective: Director of Motion Graphics and Designer, and Graphic Design Intern. During this same period, they were also Upstate NY Director of Communications at AIGA Design. Since 2016, they have been an Adjunct Professor at The Sage Colleges.

Jared Schafer received their High School Diploma from Terry Sanford High in 1998. Jared then attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from 1998 to 2000, studying Business/Commerce, General. In 2011, they obtained a Certificate from Hudson Valley Community College in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia. Jared then attended The Sage Colleges-Sage College of Albany from 2012 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Graphic Design. In March 2015, they obtained a certification in Maya 2015 Essential Training from lynda.com.
