Jaehyun Ahn

Jaehyun Ahn, Ph.D. has held a number of positions in the past. Starting in 2002, they worked as a Principal Research Engineer at Samsung Techwin, where they developed three kinds of auxiliary power units (APU) for military armored vehicles and helicopters and received the 'Best New Technology Award' from the Korean Ministry of Defence. Jaehyun also developed and designed gas turbine cooling systems for small sized aircraft engines. In 2008, they were appointed Director of Business Development at Dae Heung Machinery. In 2012, they moved to Ivaldi Capital LLP, where they served as Senior Risk Manager. In 2018, they were appointed Head of Risk at Higher Park, and in 2019 they were promoted to Director at Upside Technology.

Jaehyun Ahn, Ph.D. obtained their Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Hanyang University in 2005. Jaehyun then went on to obtain their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Alliance Manchester Business School in 2011.
