Elissa Kozlov

Elissa Kozlov has extensive work experience in the field of public health, with a particular focus on aging and behavioral geriatrics. Elissa currently holds two roles at Rutgers School of Public Health, including Director of the Population Aging Concentration and Assistant Professor. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Scientific Officer at Upside. Elissa has also worked at Rutgers University as an Instructor in the School of Public Health, where they were a core faculty member at the Institute for Health, Health Policy and Aging Research. Elissa is a licensed clinical psychologist and has expertise in aging, palliative care, and behavioral medicine. Elissa's previous experience includes roles at Weill Cornell Medicine, Palo Alto VA Hospital, Washington University in St. Louis, and Weill Cornell Medical College, where they worked on research projects focused on depression in older adults. Elissa holds a PhD from Washington University in St. Louis.

Elissa Kozlov completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Theater at Wesleyan University from 2004 to 2008. Elissa then pursued higher education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis, graduating between 2010 and 2016.
