Dan Ehrman

Dan Ehrman is the Director of Engineering at Upstart since March 2022, leading the Home Lending team's growth. Prior to this role, Dan was a Senior Engineering Manager at Upstart, where a talented team was built to launch the first home lending product. Dan's experience includes managing the Buy Now Pay Later team at Stripe and working with the AWS Service Catalog team at Amazon Web Services to facilitate enterprise governance of AWS services. At Redfin, Dan held multiple positions, including Engineering Manager for RedfinNow and the Owner Engagement team, as well as a founding member of the notifications team. Early career experience includes IC Design Engineer 2 at LSI Corporation and firmware design at Purdue Solar Racing. Dan holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Purdue University and a Master's in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
