Garrett Strohm

Garrett Strohm is a skilled DevOps Engineer II at Upstart, focusing on developing streamlined infrastructure as code and providing Typescript expertise to colleagues. Previously, Garrett worked as a Freelance Software Engineer, creating a website for the Snowy Mountain Trout Unlimited Chapter using Ruby on Rails and ReactJS. As a Full Stack Developer at Flatiron School, Garrett contributed to the GearList trip organization application. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Instructor and Gun Room Manager at Orvis, where Garrett managed instructional programs and a team of twenty-five staff members, and internships at the Lancaster County Environmental Center and Charles Luck Stone Center, where efforts centered on conservation and safety regulations. Garrett holds a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Conservation from Virginia Tech and furthered education at Flatiron School.
