Joseph Marin

Joseph Marin is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Legal Counsel for Capital Markets at Upstart since May 2022. Prior to this role, Joseph worked as an Associate Attorney at Akerman LLP, focusing on Capital Markets and CRE Finance, and held a similar position at Lathrop GPM LLP, where involvement included a summer associate experience. Joseph also gained analytical experience at Toyota North America and completed an internship in Economic Planning at the Port of Los Angeles. Joseph holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Iowa College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Loyola Marymount University.
