Lisa Hu

Lisa Hu is an experienced compliance professional with a robust background in risk analysis and project management. Currently serving as Associate Compliance Manager for Lending Partnerships at Upstart since January 2022, Lisa has previously held positions such as Senior Compliance Associate at Upstart, and Senior Associate in Ethics - Risk Analysis at Fannie Mae. Lisa's experience at Fannie Mae also includes a role as Project Associate in Ethics & Investigations. Prior to that, Lisa contributed to the CoStar Group in various research and analytical roles and gained valuable experience as an Economic Development Intern at Downtown Partnership of Baltimore. Additionally, Lisa has a background in database management from Bwtech@UMBC and research experience from RemixEducation. Lisa earned a Bachelor's Degree in Global Studies from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and also studied Political Science and Economics at the University of Helsinki.
