Paul Gauthier

Paul Gauthier is a Senior Research Scientist at Upstart, where they focus on teaching computers to understand complex business problems. Previously, they served as a Lead Data Scientist at Zoro US and held various positions at McMaster-Carr, including Software Developer and Lead Systems Engineer. Paul earned a PhD with honors in Cuneiform Studies from The University of Chicago, an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business, and a Master of Science in Information Management from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. With a passion for statistical modeling and information management, Paul works to leverage domain knowledge to solve real-world challenges.
