Seth Cottle

Seth Cottle is a seasoned Principal Product Designer with extensive experience in leading design initiatives across various industries. Currently at Upstart since November 2025, Seth drives design efforts in enhancing user experiences. Prior to this, at CLEAR from February 2022 to October 2025, Seth managed product design efforts, contributing significantly to the development of CLEAR Plus member experiences and various kiosks. Previously, at Ellucian, Seth served as Senior Principal Product Designer focused on the Path Design System, where Figma streamlined design processes. At Capital One from May 2016 to March 2021, Seth held multiple roles, including Manager of Product Design Lead in the Innovation Lab, while also advancing the Capital One Wallet project. Seth's early career included founding roles at ShaleApps and Squario Labs, focusing on product design and custom software solutions. Education includes studies in Computer Science Engineering at West Virginia University.
