Shiv Indap

Shiv Indap is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and engineering management. Current position as Senior Engineering Manager at Upstart began in March 2021. Prior to this, Shiv served as VP of Engineering at Customer Lobby from June 2012 until its acquisition by EverCommerce in 2017, managing the entire engineering organization and enhancing the product code-base from Zend PHP to Ruby on Rails, which significantly increased customer capacity. Previous roles include Lead Software Developer at TrustedID, Inc. (a subsidiary of Equifax), Lead Backend Developer at 500friends (acquired by Merkle), and various development positions at Carsala, CultureU, Indiana University, and Reliance Communications. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
