Sonya Berg

Sonya Berg is a proficient researcher and scientist with extensive experience in applied data science and algorithm optimization. Currently serving as a Staff Research Scientist at Upstart since February 2025, Sonya previously worked as a Staff Applied Scientist at Delphina, focusing on developing AI tools for data-driven decision-making. Prior experience at Uber included roles as a Staff Applied Scientist and manager, where Sonya specialized in marketplace matching and collaborated with pricing teams.
