Tim Huang

Tim Huang is a skilled software engineer specializing in machine learning and data platforms, currently working at Upstart since November 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Data Platform Engineer at Edmunds from May 2017 to October 2023, where significant contributions included enabling and standardizing MLOps, optimizing regression models, and building internal libraries for PII protection to meet regulatory compliance. Tim also demonstrated expertise as an Independent Consultant by successfully developing a system to recover compromised cryptocurrencies within weeks. As a co-founder at Premake, Tim created a real-time text and voice chat platform, and previously, as a software engineer at SGN, Tim developed a level editor using Unity 3D. Tim holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, completed in 2015.
