Yang Liu

Yang Liu is a highly experienced research scientist currently serving as a Staff Research Scientist at Upstart since August 2019, having progressed through roles from Data Scientist to Research Scientist and Senior Research Scientist. Prior experience includes a position as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Connecticut from August 2014 to May 2019, where Yang Liu taught statistics courses. Additionally, Yang Liu completed an internship as a Grad Student Intern and worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Sanofi between May 2016 and August 2017. Yang Liu holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Connecticut (2014-2019) and a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics from Zhejiang University (2010-2014), following studies at Yali High School (2007-2010).
