Mihir Sarkar

Mihir Sarkar is the Head of AI at ENGIE Research & Innovation, where a "Breakthrough AI" acceleration program is being built to lead the energy transition. With significant experience in data-driven technologies, Mihir also serves as Chief Data Officer at ENGIE Digital and holds adjunct professor roles at Sciences Po and ESIEA, focusing on AI's impact on sustainability and business transformation. Additionally, Mihir is a board member and advisor for various organizations, including Upstream Tech, Vyntelligence, and AI4Copernicus, and has a rich background as a co-founder and leader in startups and research initiatives, including roles at the MIT Media Lab. Mihir holds a PhD in Media Arts and Sciences from MIT, alongside other advanced degrees in media technology and computer science.
