Robert Kossmann

Robert Kossmann is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in supervisory roles and risk management. Currently serving as an Independent Supervisory Board Member and Chair of the Audit Committee at Ukreximbank since August 2023, Kossmann also holds the position of Independent Supervisory Board Member and Chair of the Risk Committee at Bank CRYSTAL, which is recognized as the leading financial inclusion bank in Georgia. Kossmann has been an Angel Investor at UpSwot since January 2021 and served as a Mentor/Advisor at Agrifinance Online Inc. from April 2021 to February 2024. Previously, Kossmann was a Board Member for Retail Banking at Raiffeisen Bank Aval from January 2006 to October 2020 and the Head of SME Risk at Raiffeisen Bank International AG from March 2004 to January 2006, where responsibilities included SME risk management across 15 countries. Kossmann holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of North Texas, obtained in December 1986.
