Mitra E.

Mitra E. is a Senior Project Director for Economic Justice at Upturn, where they focus on achieving economic justice and promoting government transparency. Previously, they served as a Senior Staff Attorney at the ACLU of San Diego & Imperial Counties and held judicial clerkships for Hon. Margaret M. Morrow and Hon. Betty B. Fletcher. Mitra's educational background includes a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law and a Master of Laws from the same institution, along with a Master of Science from The London School of Economics and Political Science. They also engage in law teaching as a Visiting Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California, Irvine School of Law.
